The purpose of this church shall be the advancement of the kingdom of Jesus Christ through public worship of God, preaching of the Gospel, administration of the New Testament ordinances, which are the Lord's Supper and Believer's Baptism, consistent Christian living of its members, efforts of personal evangelism, missionary endeavor, and Christian education.
We are a close group of believers that worship together on Sunday Mornings. We have Sunday School available all year round for all ages and are currently working on starting a AWANA program.
The Memorial Baptist Church is a member of the North American Baptist Conference. We celebrate a heritage of God including the five Baptist churches of Delmont, Dry Creek, Lake, Parkston, and Tripp. When Memorial Baptist Church was dedicated in 1971, it combined all of the remaining churches under one roof. The Church celebrated its centennial in June 1993.
Over the years, many pastors have led our church. Most recently, Pastor Michael Boyle and his family arrived in August 2013 to take over that role.
